The Tinubu Arewa Media 2023 group, under the leadership of Comrade Abdulhamid Bala, has strongly condemned the recent unfounded allegations against Minister of Defence, Muhammadu Badaru. The group, which was actively involved in the electoral campaign for President Bola Tinubu, has labeled the accusations as baseless and a deliberate attempt to destabilize the All Progressives Congress (APC).
In a statement issued on Tuesday, the group rejected claims that Minister Badaru is involved in any covert dealings with opposition figures, describing such assertions as “fabricated lies” intended to harm the party’s unity. The group highlighted Minister Badaru’s longstanding commitment to the APC and his service to Nigeria, both as a former governor of Jigawa State and currently as Defence Minister.
The statement also emphasized that these allegations are groundless and driven by political adversaries attempting to weaken the APC’s stronghold. The group urged all APC supporters to ignore the misleading rumors, affirming that Minister Badaru’s loyalty to the party and President Tinubu’s administration remains unquestionable.
Furthermore, the group warned the individuals behind this smear campaign, vowing to expose their identities if they persist. Tinubu Arewa Media 2023 reaffirmed its support for Minister Badaru, calling him an honorable figure dedicated to the progress and unity of Nigeria.
